Our Life Client Scheme ("LCS") was established in September 2023 because we believe that everyone should have access to legal services and the opportunity to have the financial means to achieve their worthy goals.

Engaging LCS

New /Existing Clients

New /Existing clients are automatically enrolled into LCS which gives them the option to take advantage of our Thrive Fund's resources for pro bono services and grants for their personal causes for life. LCS also gives them the opportunity to apply for fee rebates or retrospective pro bono services. There is no cost to the client for the enrolment which may be cancelled by the client at any time by giving ABS&P notice in writing.

Subscribers

Those who wish to take advantage of LCS for ongoing pro bono services, may pay a monthly subscription of £350.00 which gives them 3 hours of guaranteed pro bono services per month (this may be extended at the discretion of the Partner handling the client). They will also get the opportunity to have preferential access to grants from our Thrive Fund (by application).

LCS subscribers will need to apply via our LCS Subscription Page. We reserve the option to refuse any subscription application without giving a reason.

Subscriptions may be cancelled by either party with 30 days' written notice.

Certificate of Subscription

Each client or LCS subscriber will be entitled to a Life Client Certificate. The certificate guarantees that the client or subscriber will be entitled to the services under LCS for the life of our firm unless cancelled by the subscriber or by us under our GTC.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes under LCS shall be subject to the laws and courts of Costa Rica. In the first instance, any complaints should be made to ABS&P's managing partner via our online Contact Form, whose decision shall be final.
